Despite the cheesy production of this video, it is by far one of the most comprehensive and best sewing machine tutorials on youtube. I've gone through so many lame videos of people completely skipping over steps and/or having poor video footage of what the hell they were doing.
This video made me feel like I was in the 1990’s
When I first turned on this video, I thought, “what the hell am I watching?” Luckily I fought through my urge to turn it off and successfully threaded my machine and sewed my first stitches. I bought the machine to create bandanas to donate to the local dog shelter, and maybe a few collars for my own dogs. I’m a guy who forgot everything that was taught in middle school home-ec class so this was amazingly helpful. Thanks!
As a single man, I'm able to make some simple repairs and alterations thanks to this video and my Brother LX3817 sewing machine. I have two dogs and non of the clothes in pet stores fit on them. I also make or alter their clothes and now they enjoy long walks when the weather is cold.
Out of all the sewing videos I've come across. This by far has kept my attention. Seems very easy to follow and provided step by step instructions. I'm looking forward to using my Brother's sewing machine this wknd.
Looooove it! It is so useful! It's been a while since my mom taught me how to use a sewing machine. I have a brother sewing machine that I have never used, today I did a couple of practice tests and did alright. Hopefully with practice I will get better!
I had my machine over a year and just started sewing. You tube videos save my sanity. I’m new to sewing and I made many mask. I just now ran across this amazing video. And I didn’t know to lay the needle thread on top of the fabric. And I have watched others sew. So I was learning from their videos. The way I was sewing was working. I did occasionally have the thread come out extra from the bobbin area. This might be why it was doing it. And my Bobbin wasn’t always working, thanks for that info.
Thank you for the video! I just bought a Brother sewing machine and the instruction manual was beginning to take over my life. This made it a ton easier
Love this video. Very straight forward and used my sewing machine for the first time! Love it!
this was sooooo helpful, my sewing machine was passed down I LOVE IT i get to make clothes and pillow cases for my daughter thank you so much for this video
I've just got hold of rhe lx25 so really looking forward to using it and learning all how to use it properly looks interesting how the bobbin cases are at the top on these machines looks easier to clean out also with a brush, I had an old brother window matic sewing machine and I've just re oiled it all and done the bobbin case brushed out and replaced the needles sorted the timing out which it's sewing much better now than it did really pleased with it now spent the day doing it but don't do zig zag so ordered a new brother sewing machine so looking forward to using the new bobbin feed
Thank you! I lost my manual 5 years ago and tucked the entire thing away. Your video is very much appreciated!
Finally, a sewing machine tutorial that is straight to the point without useless babble. I appreciate that.
this is such a easy calming tutorial. very straightforward with perfect close up shots. makes me feel like im living in a shoujo anime
I come back to this video every once in a while. I don't own a Brother sewing machine. This video is just so soothing to watch. <3
I've watched a few Tutorials on YouTube about the Brother sewing machine. I think this Tutorial is by far THE BEST.
This is the best instructional video. It’s a bit old school, I feel like I’m back in the 80’s lol but I like how it explains everything
Super helpful! Thank you so much ! This was a lot of help so I could use my machine easily!
been going back to this video for three years now every time i forget how to use a sewing machine, v useful
This tutorial is very helpful, I haven't used my machine for some time , I am going back to sewing , I find the tutorial very refreshing
